Panel Discussion : Poverty
March 1, 2015 - William Fennie, H.W., M.; Heather Williams, H.W., M.; Michael Zonta, H.W., M.
The topic is "Poverty". It is a simple noun and means the condition of being without adequate food, money, etc. If there is anything lacking in your life, please consider attending our meeting to learn of a way to reclaim the fulfillment of your true heritage.
The issue of poverty is typically approached as a problem "out there". Some blame poor people and call them lazy. Some blame wealthy people and call them greedy. Keeping the problem "out there" keeps the game of blame going and ensures that poverty remains.
The Prosperos offers tools for individuals to recognize the "mirror effect" of consciousness (what I see "out there" is a mirror of my own interior beliefs, constructs, prejudices and undigested emotions). Mirror comes from the Latin word "mirare" which means "to look at". In a sense, the world we are looking at, is ourselves. What can we do?
